After a solid week of storms on the Southern California coast, I wasn't thinking about shooting at the beach. An early morning bite on the arm from a hungry cat got my adrenaline going, so I went down to the beach to walk it off. The tail end of the storm was breaking up to reveal this rainbow emerging from orange storm clouds at sunrise, as perfect tubular waves broke on the shore. Laguna Beach, Ca. 2026
